- Manage customer relationships and provide insight into industry developments in customer countries to predict new investment opportunities and performance issues.

- Responsible for rating reviews or loan loss reserve on a quarterly basis for the overall assigned portfolio and monitor changes to risk flags to determine performance of assigned portfolio with limited supervision.
- Apply knowledge of project/portfolio lifecycle to identify and meet critical path milestones, and to implement tasks (including production of documents) in a timely and high-quality fashion for the processing or supervision of projects.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of portfolio reporting information produced by junior staff and provide a broader industry, sub-sector and country perspective on project risks and issues.
Selection Criteria
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, or other related field. Certification as a CFA or CPA is considered equivalent.
- At least he has 7-9 years of relevant experience in the financial sector, preferably with a track record of sourcing, structuring and closing investments in both equity and debt, including capital markets.
- Good understanding of commercial banks, insurance companies, and other financial intermediaries’ perspectives, including business drivers, scope of operations, and benefits for successful operations.

- May monitor financial models created by analysts and provide quality control feedback.
- Understand the credit and non-financial risks associated with specific aspects of simple and complex projects, understand how IFC evaluates risk-reward tradeoffs, and how to manage these risks. U
- nderstand how it can be sufficiently mitigated.
- Ability to produce concise, well-organized documents and reports that appropriately focus on key points relevant to the target audience. Sound business judgment and strong problem-solving/negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively on parallel projects under time pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and French.
