Key responsibilities
As the Enterprise Architect, your key responsibilities are as follows:
- Create EA artifacts, EA standards, and best practices, as well as EA governance, frameworks, and methodology.
- Create and disseminate best practices, standards, and guidelines for architecture throughout the company.
- Work together with interested parties to determine business needs and convert them into architectural solutions.
- Analyze market trends and new technology to help guide architectural recommendations and decisions.
- To guarantee adherence to architectural standards, support governance procedures and architecture review boards.
- Assist project teams with the implementation of architectural solutions by offering direction and assistance.
- Lead, oversee, and guide development teams
- Report on efforts for continuous improvement and share the enterprise architecture with outsourced providers and other department managers in the company.
- To guarantee adherence to architectural standards, oversee the Change Control board and take part in the Project Review board.
The ideal candidate
Essential
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a similar discipline
- A master’s degree in enterprise architecture, business management, or IT management
- Cloud-specific certificates from providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as cybersecurity-focused certifications like TOGAF and CISSP, are advantageous.
- Ten years of applicable expertise in enterprise architecture, together with a background in data management, systems analysis, cloud computing, network security, or software engineering, among other related topics.
- strong knowledge of architectural frameworks, technology trends, and business requirements.
- expertise in developing and managing extensive frameworks for enterprise architecture.
- familiarity with 3D modeling software, BIM, and CAD tools for architecture modeling.
- strong knowledge of IT enterprise platforms and systems, including NetSuite, Workday, and Salesforce, as well as their architectures
- extensive familiarity with a wide range of technologies, including as networking, data management, cloud computing, and security.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to analyse complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to lead and mentor development teams and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with architectural frameworks and methodologies TOGAF or Zachman, and agile methodologies.
- Experience with cloud computing, network security, data management, and application integration.
- High level understanding and interest of geo-political implications of Open Society’s work.

The salary range for this role in the US is $ 145,666 – $ 161,851 (USD). The final offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience
