Position Summary
This position will be a key advisor to the President of the BAL and will partner closely with the Head of League Productions, and Head of League Operations on the overall development of the BAL. Primary areas of advisement for this role will be league expansion, basketball & business strategy, operations, data & analytics, player development, player talent identification, and government/sporting bodies and player relationship-management. This role will play a key strategic link between the BAL, NBA Core as well as NBA Leagues.
Major Responsibilities
- Advise the President of the BAL on league basketball approach, operational version, improvement, and persisted growth in diverse markets.
- Manage relationships with authorities bodies, ministries of recreation and different stakeholders important to the improvement of the BAL.
- Work intently with Head of League Operations on growing and executing an powerful player, instruct and referee skills-identity approach throughout the BAL, G League NBA, and European basketball clubs, that meets BAL skills OKR`s over time.
- Source and control basketball records and evaluation vendors (i.e., Synergy Sports)
