PATH in Senegal is searching for an experimented and bilingual Finance officer to offer aid to the Finance branch in Senegal.
Responsibilities
- Support to Finance Operations;
- Ensure that helping files are green and observe inner control;
- Input monetary and accounting information into the Business global accounting software program machine as requested;
- Scan and archive FOFR files with the SN Finance assistant;
- Cash Inventory and control (month-to-month closing);
- Perform recurring banking transactions and guidance of financial institution exams and/or wires; help reconciliation of month-to-month financial institution statements;
- Assist the Finance Manager with tracking finances advances for workshop and/or meetings;
- Ensure that each one workplace accounts (i.e. telephone, internet, constructing offerings, workplace rent, taxes and vendors) are paid in the right and well timed manner;
- Liaise with International accounting offerings for any questions and requests;
- Prepare payroll taxes and some other bills on a month-to-month basis;
- Develop and replace SOP to mirror modern-day operations and control;
- Prepare biannual reviews to ship to every prefect of areas wherein PATH operates;
- Serve as a back-up while the Finance Assistant isn’t always available;
- Manage the fleet distribution to ensure that cars are allotted efficiently;
- Prepare audit manner and enforce movement plan ensuing shape the audit;

- Upload cord in OMNI for specialists or unbiased contractors.
Payroll:
- Prepare the payroll to submit to the finance and operations manager for control
- Prepare salary payment wire to the bank.
Monthly Analysis:
- Employee and non- employee Advance Account: ensure that advances are cleared on time within the month of closing;
- Analyze other receivables and Clearing Account.
Facilities:
- Act because the Security and Safety focal factor to hold Emergency plan and others files as much as date;
- Be a part of the inexperienced crew committee;
- Conduct a few security / emergency test;
- Ensure that Extinguishers are as much as date;
- Ensure that Fire detection are operating and liaise with the issuer if wished for maintenance;
- Work intently with the protection and Security crew.
Required Skills & Experience
- Master in finance and accounting;
- Minimum five years` paintings revel in in accounting eparticularly in NGO or Multinational company;
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory;
- Be acquainted with MS environment;
- Have an revel in in SAP or Agresso or another ERP system;
- Demonstrable problem-fixing and analytical skills;
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
